Overview

This introductory course is an 8-day theoretical course which covers the essential systems, tools, and fittings of plumbing — providing a solid foundation.

1. Full Qualification Per Learner

Duration: 36 Months / 3 Years

Requirements: Must be 16 years & older, able to read & write in English

Areas Addressed:

Cold water
Hot water systems are repaired
Geysers
Repair taps and valves
Install a washbasin, Shower, WC & Pedestal and bath
Water leaks are detected
Hidden pipe work traced
Inspect, maintain and repair soil and wastewater systems
Inspecting and maintaining drainpipes
Repairing drainpipes and fittings
Clearing of Blockages

2. Trade Test Preparations Only (Per Learner)

Duration: Cost per Day

Requirements: Must be 16 years & older, able to read & write in English

Areas Addressed:

Basic plumbing skills preparation for trade tests. (Content may vary based on industry changes.)
